At least six people were killed when tornadoes and severe weather carved a path of destruction across Tennessee Saturday.
Three of the deaths happened north of Nashville, according to the city’s Office of Emergency Management. Those three victims were later identified by the Metropolitan Nashville Police Department as: Floridema Gabriel Perez, 31; her son, Anthony Elmer Mendez, 2; and Joseph Dalton, 37.
A photo from the scene showed what appeared to be a massive pile of mangled debris.
